Let’s talk about those Hippies and Mod 1964-1969.These famous styles were not fully welcomed in the streets until the mid sixties, (64-66). Woman sported box dresses, mini skirts , turtle necks, go-go boots and beehives brought on by the British Invasion in 1964.Go-go boots are a low-heeled style of women’s fashion boot first introduced in the mid-1960s. The original go-go boots, as defined in 1964, were white, low-heeled, and mid-calf in height. In 1966, the song “These shoes are made for Walkin” was released and performed by a go-go boot wearing Nancy Sinatra, who is credited with further popularising the boot.
